Chinese wucai beker vaas, c.1640 (Chongzhen periode, 1628-43), de topband versierd met een dame knielend voor een edelman vergezeld door bedienden op een tuinterras met bamboe en rotswerk, De centrale band is gedecoreerd met takken van bloeiende pioenen en chrysanten. De onderste band met takken van perziken en granaatappel.
Pair of Chinese wucai beaker vases, c.1640 (Chongzhen period, 1628-43), the top band decorated with a lady kneeling before a nobleman accompanied by attendants on a garden terrace with bamboo and rockwork, the central band with branches of flowering peony and chrysanthemum, the lower band with branches of peaches and pomegranate.

Beschrijving:
Nederlandse Delfts blauwwitte bekervaas, c. 1700, versierd met takken van bloeiende prunus, pioen en chrysant en rotsen. Met 'PK' markering op de onderzijde (waarschijnlijk bij Pieter Gerritsz, Kam, eigenaar van De Drie Porseleyne Astonnen rond 1700). Herkomst: met etiketten van 'Gwen Smith Collection, Leicester' op de onderzijde. De vorm van deze vazen ??is waarschijnlijk gebaseerd op de Chinese gu-vorm. (zie JMD-P-3135 en 3136)
Pair of Dutch delft blue and white beaker vases, c. 1700, decorated with branches of flowering prunus, peony and chrysanthemum issuing from rockwork, with 'PK' mark to base (probably belonging to Pieter Gerritsz, Kam, owner in 1700 of 'De Drie Porseleyne Astonnen), height: 13 3/4in., 35cm; condition: one with a piece out of the rim re-stuck and hairline to rim, damage to base and chips and frits to edges, the other with two faint hairlines and fritting to edges. Provenance: with labels of 'Gwen Smith Collection, Leicester' to base. The shape of these vases is probably based upon the Chinese gu-form. (see; JMD-P-3135 en 3136)
